Our debut album "Hard Rock Rebel" is out...
Finally our debut album is out, and we love it. It is a milestone in Mak'Vaerk and we really got what we wanted on this album.
The songs on the album have been the musical foundation for Mak'Vaerk since the beginning, where Martin and Michael composed a lot of them. Then all the songs were polished and finished up after Kim and Kristian joined Mak'Vaerk in 2015, also more songs were added to the catalog.

With this album we wanted to wrap up our initial bunch of songs, to focus on writing new material and move on from this stepstone. We called Jacob Bredahl from the Dead Rat Studio and told him what we wanted and how we wanted to do this album, and luckily he was up for the challenge.
​
So "Hard Rock Rebel" was recorded live in the studio, and all 12 songs were tracked in just a few days. We asked for a raw, dynamic and authentic sound, and Jacob nailed it with his mix and mastering,

Yep! That's right.. Almost brought live to you from our rehearsals.. We've recorded a bunch of our tracks the other night and Kim just put the sounds through a quick mix. And guess what - we've decided to share all of the goodies with you!

Nightwatch - Pre Demo 2015
We spent some hours tracking Nightwacth in our rehearsal room. First, Mike nailed the drumming, then strings and finally Kristian wrapped his sweet voice around this masterpiece.
Kim did some mixing and our Israeli connecting did the final mastering for the massive sum of 5 dollars !
We did a few other tracks as well, but for now we'll let you settle for Nightwatch. Check it out :)
